About Me

It all started back in high school… ::ripple dissolve::

While in high school I had to take an elective class. Who would have thought Television Production was a class in high school? Best move I’ve ever made. It was all analog and tape to tape editing back then too, my freshman year. By the time I became a Senior, we switched over to Digital and by that point I knew I wanted to continue a career in this field.

Upon graduating high school, I continued my education at The New England Institute of Art in Boston, Massachusetts. I walked in knowing all I have learned in high school. It was a great honor to actually learn Final Cut Pro in high school. Almost everybody I went to college with didn’t have that type of luxury.

After receiving my degree from AI New England in 2003, I started working for Award Productions as an Intern, then it became part-time, and now working full time.

Working for Award Productions for over 5 years has brought many great experiences to me. I have worked on numerous documentaries, such as, the Emmy Nominated Best Documentary, “Beyond Kitty Hawk” which aired on PBS and “Hell Drivers: America’s Original Crash Test Dummies,” which is currently in the Film Festival circuit nationwide.

You can also find me out in the field Sound Tech’ing for numerous video productions. From corporate videos all the way to the news room of CNN and down to the field of the Boston Red Sox!

Editing on Apple’s finest, the 8-Core MacPro, is where I spend most of my time. From documentary opens to montages all the way to personal projects, you can see I’m quite busy.

2008 has brought one joy to my life… my wife. Back in June of 2008 I got married to the beautiful Laura, who knows that video production work can be very, very time consuming. “Balance” is pretty much the key word here. For the most part, video production is my work life and I continue to gain experience with everything that comes my way in this field.
